Some nights, you come home later than you planned.
The streets have grown quiet. The windows along the way have gone dark. After a long day, you finally reach your door—and there, a familiar little face is waiting.
Your cat does not ask why you are late. It does not need you to explain the kind of day you have had. It simply comes closer, brushes against your legs, and follows you inside.
In that small, familiar moment, you know you are home.
To us, a cat is a beloved member of the family. Its affection lives in everyday gestures: sitting beside you while you work, staying nearby when you cannot sleep, or waiting patiently for the sound of your return.
This quiet companionship became the inspiration for the Moonlit Cat Nightlight.
A Little Cat Beneath the Moon
Within the wooden frame, a little cat sits on a tiled rooftop, looking up at the moon. Warm light shines through the night scene, surrounding its silhouette with a gentle glow.
We imagined it watching the evening settle over the rooftops, listening for familiar footsteps.
The moon travels across the sky. The night grows still. And the little cat stays close to home, waiting for someone it loves.
It is a scene for anyone who knows the comfort of being welcomed back by a cat—especially on the days when that simple welcome means everything.
No matter how late you come home, you are still someone’s favourite part of the day.
Bringing a Familiar Moment to Life
The Moonlit Cat combines a framed wooden scene with mechanical movement, giving this familiar moment another layer of life.
Behind the scene, connected parts work together. Their alignment requires careful attention and adjustment by hand, turning separate wooden elements into a coordinated piece of automata.
That care reflects the feeling we wanted to capture: the small details of companionship that become precious through repetition.
A Light to Come Home To
With its nightlight illuminated, the moon becomes a warm presence within the scene.
Placed beside your bed, on a shelf, or in a favourite corner, the piece brings a little of that feeling into your home: a familiar companion nearby, a light glowing softly, and a moment to rest after the day.
For a cat lover, it can also be a reminder of their own cherished family member and the everyday moments they share.
